overview
Nitrogen oxides(NOX is one of the main pollutants in the atmosphere and a major challenge in current air pollution control.
chemical property
NO+NO2=N2O3, But it is unstable under normal conditions and undergoes decomposition;
2NO+02=2NO2, the oxidation rate is accelerated in the presence of O3 or under the action of sub catalysts. NO is oxidized to NO2 under the action of other oxidants, and N2 is generated under the action of reducing agents;
Design principles and related specifications
Adopting a dual tower series connection method to treat the generated nitrogen oxide exhaust gas.
A purification tower using urea to produce ammonia methodAOD method (Ammonia on demand) first treats most of the nitrogen oxide waste gas. Mix dry urea with water to completely dissolve the urea, and then use a circulation pump to extract the urea solution and send it to a purification tower for circulating spraying and use. The exhaust gas first enters the bubble section of the purification tower, allowing the exhaust gas to evenly enter the liquid storage tank of the purification tower and ensure full contact between gas and water. The exhaust gas rises from bottom to top inside the tower, while the absorption liquid is pumped into the purification tower by a circulation pump and sprayed from top to bottom. The exhaust gas comes into reverse contact with the absorption liquid on the packing layer inside the tower, causing a chemical reaction. After two layers of spraying and filling, the vast majority is absorbed; After absorption treatment, the exhaust gas is fully separated into gas and liquid through a gas-liquid separator, and then sent to two purification towers for treatment through pipelines. The two towers use sodium hydroxide as the absorbing liquid. First, the two towers are bubbled and then flow upwards to reach a filter layer, where it reacts with the neutralizing liquid sprayed from a nozzle. The absorbed exhaust gas continues to flow upward to the second filter layer, where it comes into contact with the neutralizing liquid sprayed from the second layer nozzle, undergoes a neutralization reaction again, and then passes through the swirl plate, is discharged into the atmosphere through the air cap and exhaust pipe.
equation
The reaction process between urea aqueous solution and nitrogen oxides is as follows:
(NH2)2CO CO↑+2H2↑+N2↑
NO2+NO+CO+2H2+N2 CO2↑+2N2↑+2H2O
3NO2+H2O====2HNO3+NO↑
NO+Oxidant→NO2
2NO2+H2O====HNO3+HNO2
2HNO2+CO(NH2)2====CO2↑+3H2O↑+2N2↑
of whichThe oxidation of NO to NO2 is the key to removing NOx from CO2 mixtures
3NO2+H2O=====2HNO3+NO
4NO2+2H2O+O2=====4HNO3
NO2 can be directly absorbed by Na2O2.
Na2O2+2NO2=2NaNO3
Quickly absorbed by introducing sodium hydroxide solution
2NO2+2NaOH=NaNO2+NaNO3+H2O
